The iTOO Premium Learning Centre Launches at the IISA
It was an insightful morning filled with many familiar industry faces at the new home of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA). The iTOO Premium Learning Centre was officially opened and provides a platform for several events and educational seminars to take place at the IISA. This was followed by a talk by current IISA President and CEO of Allianz South Africa, Delphine Maidou on “The Effects of Junk Status on the South African Economy.”
CEO of the IISA, David Harpur was extremely excited to launch the centre, highlighting the significance of education for the industry and people. “We look forward to hosting a number of events and sessions at the iTOO Premium Learning Centre with a number of exciting developments to come,” says David.
David also extended his gratitude and thanks to Paolo Cavalieri and Rob Hallier from iTOO for contributing to help bring the centre to fruition.
Paolo was then called on stage to say a few words and immediately expressed his delight at being able to be a part of helping deliver the new training centre to the industry with the IISA. Paolo went onto share that, “the strength of the institute concept has contributed to the strength of the industry in SA and its neighbouring countries. The IISA continues to make a big impact, particularly through its contributions to events like the Annual Insurance Conference which has become a major event in the industry”.
The final part of the morning consisted of Delphine Maidou’s talk and interacting with the audience as they discussed her topic around junk status.
We are looking forward to the developments and sessions to take place at the iTOO Premium Learning Centre and help make the industry even more brilliant!
